Because She is the World’s Coolest Granny! And because I want to be the World’s Coolest GrandPa.
because he’s a great American!
I’d like to thank him for his service to our country. Also, we have similarities in religion and family values.
Because she is wonderful Lady. I am proud of her, and her may accomplishments!
I was born on March 22, 1951, in New Castle. PA.
I grew up, as an only child. Boy Scouts was my main activity. I received my Eagle Scout Award in 1967. I attended New Castle High and graduated in 1969. I then attended Gannon University (Erie PA), 1969 – 1973, earning a BA in Political Science.
Being in Army ROTC, I entered active duty on graduation as a Second Lieutenant of Infantry. My first assignment was to the 101st Airborne Division.
I was married to a home town girl, in 1977. Now a Captain, we were assigned to Germany. I later received a Masters from the University of Southern California.
I am the very Proud father of Four Daughters (Rachael, Rebekah, Elizabeth, and Victoria)
I retired from the Army, as a Major in 1993. Then on one fateful day, my wife of 23 years woke up, and decided She did not want to be married any more. So NOT able to prevent it, I reluctantly agreed to a divorce.
Now six years later, I am remarried and living happily ever after!
GA Pete is a VERY charming and courteous fellow, a true gentleman…something the world needs more of.
BG H. Norman Schwarzkopf was Deputy Eight Infantry Division Commander, Mainz German.
I was a Army CPT, Company Commander at that time.
I was running late for a mandatory prayer breakfast. When I arrived mere minutes before the scheduled start, all the seats were taken. So I continued to look, and finally spotted one open seat and quickly sat down.
Then the Brigade Chaplin, introduced BG Schwarzkopf, so we all rose to welcome him. He made his way to the front, where he took his unmarked seat at my table, right next to me.
Talk about being nervous! Shortly before he was introduced to give the talk for the day, I told him quietly, “General, I did not know you were sitting here, when I chose my seat.” He said, to me “Why are you telling me this” I said, “Sir: Because I want you to know I am not a “brown noser”. He just smiled, seeming to appreciate my discomfort and comment.
